What is Market Profile (TPO)?

Market Profile is made up of Time Price Opportunities (TPOs), which are represented by letters. Each letter represents a 30 min period of Market Activity. TPO is a unique tool for Market Structure, especially useful once the day evolves and the profile takes shape. You are able to get organized Market Generated Information that provides you knowledge about whether Long-term traders, Short-term traders or Daytraders are in control of the auction.

How to Install a Chartbook in Sierra Chart:

1. Download and Save: Save your Chartbook file (.CHT) in the following directory: C:\SierraChart\Data.
2. Open Sierra Chart Platform: Launch the Sierra Chart platform and navigate to the File tab.
3. Access Chartbook: From the File menu, select 'Open Chartbook' and locate your saved Chartbook.CHT file.
4. Update Chart Contracts: Ensure all charts are updated to the current contract.

Important Notes:

• Time Zone Adjustment: The Chartbook is based on New York time (-5 EST/-4 EDT).
• Adjust your Global Settings accordingly: Go to Global Settings >> Time Zone Settings >> Choose New York (-5 EST/-4 EDT).
